W łóżku spędzamy większość naszego życia. W trakcie tej i następnej lekcji chciałabym przybliżyć Wam kilka znaczeń angielskiego wyrazu bed.

1. bed - łóżko, loże

single bed	-	łóżko jednoosobowe
double bed	-	łóżko małżeńskie/dwuosobowe
bunk bed	-	łóżko piętrowe
camp bed	-	łóżko polowe
bedroom	-	sypialnia
bedchamber	-	sypialnia/komnata sypialna
bedsit/bedsitter	-	mieszkanie jednopokojowe/kawalerka

bedclothes	-	pościel (przykrycie - koc, kołdra)
bedding	-	pościel
bed linen	-	bielizna pościelowa
bedside table	-	stolik nocny
bed-time	-	pora snu
bed-time stories	-	bajki na dobranoc

to go to bed	-	iść do łóżka/iść spać
to be in bed	-	być w łóżku
to get out of bed	-	wstać z łóżka
to make the bed	-	pościelić łóżko
to take to one's bed	-	rozchorować się

2. bed - mieszkanie, nocleg

bed and brekfast	-	zakwaterowanie ze śniadaniem
